Frolik of Albany, and James D. Frolik who resides in Cologne, Germany. For many years she assisted her husband in preparing legal court transcripts in their home office. Evelyn loved her family and will be greatly missed by her husband, Robert; son William and wife Libuse; son James; and grandson Tomas and wife Michelle who reside in Houston, Texas.

Evelyn Rose Polasek was born in Albany. Her father, Anton George Polasek, and mother Marie Simcik both emigrated in the early 1900s from the Moravia area of the Czech Republic.
She was a member of the Laureate Nu Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the Czech Genealogical Society Inter.
After graduating from Albany Union High School in 1950, Evelyn worked as a secretary for the insurance firm of Beam McCormack in Albany before being employed as a secretary with the Nike Air Force Camo

During this career, she found time to raise a family, earn her Master's Degree from the University of Louisville, and volunteer herself to many organizations. In the 1980s, Evelyn was chosen as a teaching ambassador to China, where she learned Mandarin Chinese and taught English at a university in mainland China. This journey, along with many others, encouraged Evelyn that our world is Nike Huarache All Red a beautiful place that can be better understood through communication. To this end, she committed herself to studying Mandarin while teaching Spanish. Although it took several years, she finished her studies and received her certification to teach Mandarin from the University of Singapore. She then took it upon herself to develop a Chinese curriculum for students at the high school level. Her education/life philosophy was "to get the best out of people, you have to see the best in them. " This was evident in her many life travels.
